How Suggested Updates Work?

Our mission is to connect the world with the most trusted, evergreen, behavior-based relationship graph of all people and companies. To get to perfect data we've got an amazing team working on programmatic improvements, but we also love it when you suggest updates!

When you add or edit a company or job title that is missing or incorrect, not only are you cleaning up your view of Connect The Dots, but you're making the system better for everyone on the platform. 

But mistakes happen and we want to make sure you never get into a situation where your data is messy, dirty, or unintentionally (or intentionally!) incorrect.  For that reason, all data updates are treated as suggestions until they are reviewed by our data team for human verification. This is an important step to ensure the accuracy of all changes. Within 24 hours (usually much much faster), you'll receive a confirmation email from our data team and will see the updates live in Connect The Dots. 

Note that during the period between the time you submit your suggestion and the time it is verified by the data team, you may see the old data.  We store all temporarily-corrected data in your browser and that can get cleared for many reasons, eg a cache refresh or browser reload.  There is no need to submit the request twice. We're on it and will follow up ASAP once the correction is made.
