Google Workspace Send Permissions Authorization

What is the experience like for your users? 

Inside Connect The Dots, users will click the "Ask" button, and it will launch an email editor like the one below. Depending on the context of the relationship, a smart email template will be loaded. The user can edit the email, preview it, and when they're ready, hit send. 

The email will be sent from their Gmail account, so it'll look just like any other email. For important asks, this means higher response rates. The email will be logged in the sender's Gmail Sent Items folder, and all replies will come back to their Gmail Inbox. 

Setup Instructions

The Google Workspace Administrator needs to perform the following steps: 

  1. Visit
  2. Edit the Connect The Dots API client that you’ve previously added during Enterprise Connector Setup.
  3. Input the following information: Add a third OAuth Scope:

  4. Click on Authorize.
  5. Notify your contact at Connect The Dots via email that you have completed these steps.
