What data do you analyze and store?

We only store your email headers and footers. This includes the "from", "to", "cc", "bcc", date & time, subject lines, and signatures. We do not store the bodies of your emails -- those reside only on your email host. If they’re previewed inside Connect The Dots, we call out to your email host on-demand, just like any other email client. Our service is fully compliant with the terms of use and privacy requirements imposed by Google and Microsoft for accessing their users' email accounts.

Note: We also have a Metadata only option if you want to tell Google or Microsoft to not provide access to the bodies of your emails. This removes our ability to scan signatures for phone numbers. It also eliminates the ability for your users to get invaluable context about contacts by previewing their email history.
